week 25
15 weeks to go (there abouts) and I am still feeling great (pregnancy wise that is) I'm feeling a little seedy today. I think I may be fighting off something. The kids have all been a bit under the weather but not too drastic. My little man Caleb(21mths) has climbed up next to me and is trying to prompt me to read him a Mr Men book. It seems that as soon as I settle down to do something he thinks its time for Mum to give some attention. He has now given up on me and is reading the book at full volume in his 21 month sort of way. I didn't realize how the toes can be involved in turning pages but for some reason he has decided that this is the way to do it today.
One of the blogs that I have enjoyed reading has just come to the end of the pregnancy.
Cafe Mama has a great way of making you smile and want to know from week to week how she is doing. I will miss checking in on the preggy progress but I wish her all the best now that her family is expanding.
I love the feel of bubs rolling and poking and prodding and I love the fact that my belly button is now an outy. I love the fact that the kids want to kiss and cuddle my ever increasing bump and I love this opportunity of being pregnant that is so special to a woman. I remember after having my first baby Daya how I felt really fulfilled as a woman. I really feel for woman that never get to experience this for a variety of reasons and I especially thank God that he has let me have this experience 5 times now.
As my uterus begins to rise up, I am finding that I need to watch how much I eat or it can start to repeat on me. Its not heart burn but I do need to be a bit careful.
I am trying to eat good healthy food and it seems to be what my body wants. I really am loving broccoli with cheese sauce(yes, I still love my sauces)
I almost forgot to write that the big 5 year old party for Samara went well. There were about 23 kids and some parents. She had a great time and is now enjoying our home school sports group that she could only start at age five. Here's a few shots of the party at our house.
